Verbs in Spanish that end in CER & CIR

The verbs in Spanish that end in 'cer' and 'cir' are irregular in the Spanish present tense only in the first person singular (yo)

These verbs change the 'c' in the 'cer' and 'cir' ending to 'zc'

An exception to this rule occurs in verbs where a consonant precedes the letter 'c' as with the verbs 'ejercer' and 'vencer'. In these cases the verbs change the 'c' to a 'z'.
